Planning for Ignatius – Grade 1

Love to have Ignatius reading at a basic level, my biggest wish though is for his concentration ability to improve. Ignatius is very bright but very ‘flighty’.


Ignatius is making his first Confession in August and his First Holy Communion in September! Continue with his Sacramental Preparation
Bible – Memorise 1 verse/week.

Cursive & Printing – daily 10 minutes
Startwrite – selection of poems/bible passages/catechism
or seriously considering Pictures in Cursive

Oral Narration
Regular oral narrations and mum to write at least one a week from readings of : history, religion, geography, literature and science.

Daily Poetry reading  – memorise one poem per week.
