After starting so well for the first half of the term, we have struggled to be enthused since I have come back from Tasmania. I think in truth we are starting to be affected by our surrounds therefore David and I have decided that we are to start extensions is Term 4. There will be no formal lessons for Term 4 instead it will be 4 weeks of building and then Advent.
What to do for next term? (and we still have one more week of this term). As I’ve shared on my main blog we are trialling the 5Rs, which has some merits but I’m not sure, also I’ve trialled the workbox ideas with minimum success. I’m thinking about what works in our house, what sort of learners and teachers are we. But also what areas do we need to address and how we are going to get there. I’m feeling a need to rearrange our learning space but truly I can’t see how it can be done. I’m feeling rather frustrated and trying to put this feeling into positive action.
