2. Mathematics
Ignatius is advanced in maths, able to read numbers up to hundreds, can count by 2s, 5s, and 10s and has good computation skills.
We will be strengthening his basic knowledge and introducing him to new concepts such as measurement, volume, weight, time etc.

3. Science and Technology
We desire to encourage Ignatius’ awareness of the natural world, to have a questing mind and a confidence to tackle technological challenges.  Whilst his studies in this area have a flexibility to be interest led we also intend on  a course of study.

4. Human Society and Its Environment
History
Wanting to foster a love of and appreciation of historical events and figures.
The older children are listening to Child’s History of the World  – Hillyer, whilst Ignatius is encouraged to listen and narrate along with them it is his choice. His course of study is to listen to picture books dovetailing with the time periods being studied.
