Malachi has been exposed to quality literature since early childhood, he has an incredible retention, strong comprehension and vocabulary skills. His writing skills are impressive, his paragraph structure is strong and we love reading his writings, though his spelling isn’t strong but he has been making fantastic progress recently. He enjoys reading often and from a wide genre.
Our desire is by the conclusion of Stage 5 Malachi will be able to:

Malachi can operate with fractions, decimals, percentages and ratios. Can calculate perimeters of plane shapes and circumferences of circles, uses formulas to calculate areas of quadrilaterals and circles, uses formulas to calculate volume, and calculates side lengths and angles of triangles,

Malachi’s geographical interest will focus more on the ‘earth science’ aspect.
By the conclusion of Stage 5 Malachi will be able to:
- explain the diverse features and characteristics of a range of places and environments
- analyse the effects of interactions and connections between people, places and environments
- acquire and process geographical information by selecting and using appropriate and relevant geographical tools for inquiry
- understand and explain ‘earth science’ topics including; atmosphere, weather patterns, climate, biosphere, hydrosphere and volcanoes.
