Sebastian
Maths
Maths comes easily to Sebastian. He moved at a rapid pace through his Online Maths program, extremely close to finishing Grade 1 (technically he is only in K).
Learnt his 2x tables.
Reading
We began AAR1, realised Sebastian was struggling to put sounds together so set aside time to revise all his sounds again. He is now beginning to read some words, but it’s still ‘solid work’ for him.
Faith
We struggled to find a Faith approach this term, tried Saints and Bible but couldn’t settle on anything. However Catechism Memorisation was consistent and Sebastian excelled at the memorisation and understanding.
Literature
Sebastian enjoyed some of our poetry and read alouds, more the age appropriate choices. Need to ‘divide’ the ‘group’ into two.
