We’re a few weeks into term now and doing well in some areas, struggling in others, mostly about keeping to ‘the plan’ and although learning is happening we’re perhaps deviating from ‘the plan’ a little too much, it’s hard to know sometimes.
*Writing a fortnight block together which makes for some sketchy detail as record keeping was rather erractic for some children, the older boys in particular, Malachi and Saxon dislike marking off their sheet so it makes it hard to know what they’ve achieved if I’m not on top of recording.
Tertiary Preparation Program
Malachi put in some solid hours doing this. He had to complete a couple of maths and English exams. Then sadly his hard drive died and he had to complete again.

Reading ‘real’ books – Sebastian – Was so excited to finally ‘click’ with reading words! 🙂 He is showing great signs of early fluency. Sebastian was keen to source lots of books he could read, we found some at the library and some in our home library. Found the ‘tadpole’ books from the library particularly right for him
