A new Term as Winter gives way to Spring.  Needing this to be a Term of digging deep and achieving for all, extremely conscious it’s Mariah’s last two terms studying full time at home.

Focus continues to be on the 4 Rs; to become stronger in their Faith, spiritually and knowledgeably. To be strong mathematically, to be confident readers and solid spellers and skilled writers. To be great thinkers, proficient in the study of Logic. Also wanting to ensure they have a broad knowledge base across the subjects of; Geography, Science, Nature Studies, World & Australian History and a love of Great Literature & Poetry.

Reflection on last Term highlights whilst we achieved and were consistent in some areas, other areas were not so great. Pondering ways on how to address our weaknesses, why they occur and how to amend. Some of our weaknesses can be addressed by tighter planning, specifying exactly what books are to be read, some by fine tuning our timetable, and some by good old fashioned self discipline for all, teacher and students alike.
