We accomplished much this week:) I have trialled a new approach with the children and met with great success. Instead of the children having weekly schedule’s they had a weekly expectations sheet. Being able to accomplish some subjects in large chunks appealed to most of them. For some they choose to do a bit a day. Dominic was the only one who struggled with time management and discipline issues, (no surprise) but amazingly he managed to do most all on the last day (shades of his father) I’ve listed below what they actually did.

Mariah

Maths-5 pgs+ per week of Singapore Maths. Mariah had a breakthrough with large additions using the 100s chart, she was so excited.

Literature- 4 chapters of Cherry Tree Time at Bullerby by Astrid Lindgren. Mariah made huge progress in reading this was a very big effort. I’m so impressed with what a good reader she is.

Faith- Sacramental Preparation. Mariah did several chapters of ST Joseph First Communion Catechism. She enjoys this book more than the ‘Jesus and I’.


History-
